And the oscar goes to...

A noite dos Oscares já lá vai e There Will Be Blood, o grande favorito à partida, com 8 nomeações, acabou por ganhar apenas 2 Oscares: o de Cinematografia e o de Melhor Actor Principal (Daniel Day-Lewis).

O grande vencedor foi mesmo No Country For Old Men que arrecadou 4 estatuetas de também 8 nomeações. Mas não foram 4 Oscares vulgares, ora vejam: Melhor Actor Secundário (Javier Bardem), Melhor Argumento Adaptado, Melhor Realização e Melhor Filme. Acho que são grandes argumentos para assitir ao filme que estreou esta semana em Portugal.

Também de destacar o Oscar para Marilon Cotillard pelo seu desempenho em La Vie En Rose, onde encarna a cantora Edith Piaf. O Oscar de Melhor Actriz Secundária coube a Tilda Swinton pelo seu desempenho em Michael Clayton, garantindo ao filme o seu único Oscar de 7 nomeações.

O Oscar de Melhor Argumento Original foi para Juno, uma história sobre a gravidez na adolescência contada de uma forma pouco dramática.

Into the Wild

Baseado em factos reais. Após ter terminado o curso de faculdade como excelentes notas Christopher McCandless, abandona todos seus bens, doa os $24,000 à caridade e parte para o Alasca e apartir daí conhece varias pessoas que lhe vão toldando a personalidade.
Este é o exemplo que todos queriamos seguir. Largar tudo e partir à descoberta do desconhecido, numa altura que a vida, o stress, o trabalho, ... toma parte da nossa vida. Ao sair da sala de cinema, fiquei com vontade de acampar!
Um filme que só peca por ser bastante parado. O actor principal Emile Hirsch, mostra que tem muito para dar á 7ª arte.

Cloverfild produzido por J. J. Abrams um dos criadores de Lost e Alias, bem como o realizador de "Missão: Impossível 3" e do novo filme da saga Star Trek, tem Cloverfield como novo projecto; e realizador por Matt Reeves.
Ao ver os teasers do filme, onde não se percebia bem o que se passava desta vez em Nova Iorque, será um ataque terrorismo, uma catástrofe atmosférica, uma invasão alienígena,... A questão fica no ar. Mas ao ver a cabeça da estátua a ser arremessada pelas ruas da cidade, fico perplexo e digo isto é uma provocação, será que os franceses querem de volta o que ofereceram? Ou será que a Al-Qaeda esta a preparar das suas? Para mim chegou ver esse teaser para dizer logo de seguida: -tenho de ver este filme!

O filme tem início numa festa de despedida de Rob Hawkins, que recebe uma proposta irrecusável do Japão. A filmagem da festa fica a cargo de Hud, que filma os depoimentos dos convidados para Rob levar consigo.
Hud vai ser os nossos olhos no filme, isto permite que o espectador esteja ao nível de uma personagem do filme. Tudo que Hud faz durante o filme é por nós testemunhado, esta foi uma forma excelente de apresentar o filme sem recurso a altos orçamentos. Provou que por vezes não são necessárias gastar grandes somas para se obter um SUCESSO.
